Just some PTO News that I wanted to share....
At our meeting last week we voted on what to do with money that we earn from some of the committees that make a profit. Here is what was voted on for the year!
Market Day regular monthly sales profits, profits from Pie Push and Cookie Dough push will go to level reading books for the teachers to use in the classroom. Mr. Schulte will order what they need and have them available in the book room (which is in the library) for the teachers to check out as needed.
Sk8Night and Breakfast with Santa profits will be used for Cafe Painting. We are saving up some money and will work on what to paint and when after Christmas. Any ideas? We are looking for a theme for some murals..examples are The United States, popular murals from children's books, healthy eating, etc. Please let me know!
Box Top profits will be used to purchase a mounted projection screen that will go in the gym. The electricity is all there! We might just have enough after we get the 1st check from Box Tops!
And Basket Auction money will be used for painting the walls of the water fountains (to warm up the school walls) with the remaining going to technology fund for later use.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Our next meeting is Nov. 4th 7pm in the school library.
