PVE and DRE News!!

Happy Friday Everyone!!
Last night we had two very informative meetings for PVE and DRE. At the PVE PTO Meeting we were excited to elect our new PTO Board for 2010-2011 school year and choose a fundraising company that we feel confident with. The new board will do a wonderful job keeping kids first as they continue to work hard at raising money and enhance the learning at PVE!! Congratulations Stephanie Deterding (President), Leticia Hehr (1st VP), Wendy Reichle (2nd VP), Melissa Nordmann (Treasurer) and Lara Hall (Secretary)....you will all do fabulous!!
It was brought to our attention that we need to sell, sell, sell those CARDINAL BASEBALL TICKETS so our choir can sing at the stadium. You can order up until May 1 so please get family to join you for a day of fun and watch our children sing. Tickets are only $15 and that includes a free hot dog and soda. Contact Mrs. Katie Jones for further details!!! (The game is Sunday, May 23rd at 1:15 p.m.)
At the DRE PTO Meeting, new PTO Board candidates were introduced, PTO By laws were discussed and adopted, staffing, and building progress were discussed. If there is anyone who is still interested in running for the DRE PTO Board, it's not too late. You can contact Ellen Eikel at 636-561-2533 to find out details.
MASCOT HELP WANTED: Mrs. Bates would like help with the mascot for DRE She is seeking the following 1) parents to email her suggested mascot drawings 2) T-shirt companies you've worked with successfully to accomplish something similar 3) companies which will set up the mascot for embroidery 4) ideas on where to go to view "stock" mascots so that we don't have to pay the cost to have an embroiderer set it up for us If there is anyone that can help with ay of those areas, please contact her so we can get things started in a timely and cost effective manner.
