Breakfast with Santa

Just a reminder, Prairie View Elementary PTO will host Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Prairie View Elementary. Enjoy pancakes and sausage by Chriss Cakes, shop local vendors, enjoy holiday performances by our choir, bid on a basket at the classroom basket auction, visit the Art Club booth for face painting and, of course, chat with Santa!

This year's event will also include Santa's Secret Shop, a top-secret spot for children to do their holiday shopping. Many gifts are available for only a few dollars. Most of you have received envelopes for shopping. Just to clarify, there's no need to send the envelopes back to school in advance of the event. The envelopes were provided to give students a convenient way to make a shopping list and carry their cash with them to the event if they would like to participate. Parent volunteers will be available in the shop, but parents are welcome to shop with their children if they'd prefer. Also, the flyer provided by the company supplying our merchandise references a contest, but I believe that contest has closed; we held our flyers until close to our event date.
